Marli studied at the University of British Columbia, achieving a B.Education in Secondary Visual Arts, and a graduate Diploma of  Visual Arts Education.

​

She had a long career as an Instructor of Fine Arts and a Department Head of Fine Arts until retiring in 2013.

Represented by several global stock agencies, she specializes in underwater & nature photography. Marli finds the  challenge of photographing extremely small marine animals particularly rewarding.
